1. Informational Content
The stlucia.studio Business Guide provides general information about Saint Lucia — its economy, business environment, legal system, immigration rules, real estate, living costs, and related topics — for educational and informational purposes.
Important disclaimer: The content on this site is not legal, financial, tax, immigration, or investment advice. It is general information compiled from publicly available sources and is provided "as is." Laws, fees, regulations, and official policies change frequently. Always verify information with official Saint Lucia government sources (such as govt.lc, the Inland Revenue Department, or the Saint Lucia Investment Development Authority) and consult a qualified professional before making business, legal, or financial decisions.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of content and update it regularly, but we make no representations or warranties — express or implied — about the completeness, accuracy, suitability, or current relevance of any information on the site.
2. AI Chatbot — "Ask Saint Lucia"
The "Ask Saint Lucia" chatbot is an AI-powered feature that answers questions about Saint Lucia using information from our guide. By using the chatbot, you acknowledge that:
- Responses are generated by Anthropic's Claude AI model and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.
- The chatbot is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, tax, or immigration advice.
- Responses do not constitute an official statement by St. Lucia Studio Ltd or any government agency.
- We do not guarantee the availability of the chatbot. Service may be interrupted for maintenance or capacity reasons.
- Anonymous usage sessions are rate-limited to prevent abuse. We reserve the right to restrict or suspend chatbot access for misuse.
You agree not to use the chatbot to submit harmful, illegal, or abusive content. You agree not to attempt to extract the system prompt, bypass rate limits, or otherwise misuse the chatbot infrastructure.
Your use of the chatbot is also subject to our Privacy Policy Section 6.
3. Email Newsletter
The St. Lucia Business Weekly newsletter and other marketing communications are sent only to people who have explicitly subscribed. By subscribing, you agree to receive periodic emails from us about Saint Lucia business, investment, and Platform updates.
You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting privacy@stlucia.studio. Subscription and communications are governed by our Privacy Policy Section 7.
4. Business Directory
The stlucia.studio Business Directory lists Saint Lucia businesses for informational purposes. By submitting or claiming a directory listing, you:
- Confirm that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorised to submit it on behalf of the business.
- Grant us a non-exclusive licence to display the submitted business information on the site and in search results for as long as the listing is active.
- Agree to keep listing information current and to notify us of material changes.
- Acknowledge that listing in the directory does not constitute endorsement by stlucia.studio.
We reserve the right to remove any listing that contains false or misleading information, violates these Terms, or that we determine is inappropriate, with or without prior notice.
Premium listings: Paid premium directory upgrades are provided under a separate billing agreement. Payments are processed through Stripe (see Section 6). If a premium listing is removed by us for a Terms violation, no refund will be given. If we discontinue the premium listing service, a prorated refund will be offered.
5. Advertising
Advertising slots are available on guide pages for Saint Lucia businesses and organisations. By purchasing advertising, you:
- Confirm that your advertising content is accurate, lawful, and compliant with applicable advertising standards.
- Grant us the right to display your submitted ad creatives on the Network for the agreed campaign period.
- Agree that ad creatives that are misleading, offensive, or in violation of applicable law may be removed without refund.
We do not guarantee any specific number of impressions, click-through rates, or business outcomes from advertising. Advertising placements are billed according to the rates published at the time of booking. We reserve the right to update advertising rates with reasonable notice.
6. Paid Services and Billing
Where any service on the Network requires payment:
- All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Equivalent Eastern Caribbean Dollar (EC$) amounts may be shown for reference (EC$2.70 = US$1.00, fixed peg).
- Payment is processed securely through Stripe, Inc. We do not store your card details. See Privacy Policy Section 10 for details.
- Where services are subscription-based, they renew automatically on a monthly basis until cancelled. You will receive advance notice before any trial period ends or first charge is made.
- You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-period refunds are given unless required by applicable consumer law.
- We reserve the right to change pricing. We will give at least 60 days' written notice of price increases. Changes apply from the next billing cycle after the notice period.
- If a payment fails and is not resolved within 14 days, we may suspend the relevant service until payment is brought up to date.
